Founder, Simpson Realty Group

I started Simpson Realty Group on one belief: the truth is worth more than a commission.

This page isn't a résumé. It's the story behind why I do this work the way I do, and what you can expect if we ever work together.

Morgan Simpson, founder of Simpson Realty Group

I didn't build this business to close more deals. I built it to give people advice they could actually trust.

Real estate is one of the biggest financial decisions most people ever make, and most of the advice around it is shaped by an obvious conflict: the person advising you usually only gets paid if you buy or sell.

I built Simpson Realty Group, and the name people know me by, because I believe that conflict shouldn't sit quietly in the background. It should be named, and then set aside. My clients get my honest read on a property, a price, or a plan, even when the honest answer costs me the sale.

That's not a slogan. It's the only way I've been able to do this work since 2009 and still believe in it.

My Philosophy

"Protecting a client's financial future matters more to me than earning a commission."

That means I'll tell a buyer when a home is overpriced, tell a seller when the market doesn't support their number, and tell an investor when the numbers don't work, no matter how far along we are. Sometimes the right advice is to wait another year. Sometimes it's to keep the house you already have. Sometimes it's to walk away entirely. If that's the right call, I'll make it, even if it means we don't do business today.

In Their Words

"Morgan and I have worked for years now, and he is more of a family friend now than our Realtor. The present sale is our 17th buy/sell transaction we have done together."

The same discipline, in a different arena.

I hike, lift, cycle, and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — not because it makes for good marketing, but because those disciplines have shaped how I work. Jiu-Jitsu teaches you to stay calm and think clearly under pressure, which matters when a deal gets tense. Lifting and cycling are both about consistency over time: showing up on the days you don't feel like it, which is most of what a career like this actually is.

None of it is complicated. It's just discipline, applied daily, in a different arena. And at the end of it, the reason any of this matters is the same reason I do this work honestly: I want to build something my family can be proud of.
